Program Objectives
Electronic Technology can be defined as the control of hardware and production in the industry by using electronic circuit systems. The aim of the Electronics Technology program is; To train intermediate manpower who will work in the assembly, maintenance and repair of electronic devices used in the industry, who know their electronic systems and equipment, who know their features, and who can apply their knowledge to industrial systems and equipment.
Establishment The Electronic Technology program was established in 2019 at the İncirli Campus within the Vocational School of our university and education started at the beginning of the 2019-2020 Academic Year.
Qualification Awarded Associate Degree Graduate
Students who successfully complete all the courses in the 2-year education plan and have at least 120 ECTS are awarded an associate degree in Electronic Technology.
Language of Instruction Turkish
Mode of Education * Our education continues formally. All trainings are held face-to-face.
**Internship studies are carried out as a graduation requirement in the form of 40 working days by our students in companies operating in the Electrical and Electronics sector in the sector.
Admission and Registration Requirements Students are admitted to Vocational School programs with the Central Placement Exam conducted by OSYM. In the Central Placement, candidates are placed in the Electronic Technology Program by OSYM, taking into account their TYT scores, their preferences regarding higher education programs, and the quotas and conditions of these programs. The registration of the students who are placed in the Electronic Technology Program is made by the Registrar's Office within the framework of the calendar determined by OSYM.
Double Major–Minor Programs Students of the Electronic Technology program have a double major opportunity with other associate degree programs. For detailed information, information can be obtained from the program chair.

Internship Istanbul Kültür University Electronic Technology Program students; They are obliged to do an internship for 20 + 20 = 40 working days in order to see the application areas of their profession in the field and to use the knowledge they have gained during the education process.
Graduation Requirements In order to successfully complete and graduate from all the courses equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS available in the Electronic Technology Program, students must obtain a weighted GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.

Occupational Profiles Of Graduates -An electronics technician is responsible for testing and repairing various electronic systems or devices.
-Can be employed in electronic material manufacturing companies, computer companies, telecommunication companies, public institutions and electrical engineering companies.
-Can take part in companies that carry out electrical-electronic assembly and disassembly works.
-Microcontroller can find a job in programming places.
-Can work in businesses operating in the power electronics sector.
-Can work in electrical and electronic device manufacturing factories.
-Takes part in electronic design offices.
-It takes part in the production and assembly of control systems, security systems (cameras, etc.).
Access to Further Studies The Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) is carried out by OSYM for successful students who graduate from Vocational Schools Programs to transfer vertically to formal education undergraduate programs.
