Writing assignments at university level expects you to ruminate clearly and critically, use
valid evidence and produce well-structured and coherent pieces of writing, which require an
academic writing style. This writing style is the process of breaking down ideas and using
deductive reasoning and formal voice. Therefore, this course is trying to help you develop skills in
researching, evaluating and analysing information, organizing ideas, and expressing yourself
clearly in writing. For this reason, this writing program aims at teaching you all four academic writing
conventions in theory and practice. Together with this, you will be engaged with writing personal statement, information letter, cv, and so on.
