Course Goals
 1)To help our EFL students overcome their language barriers they have been building all through the previous years due to the misbelief of being unable to communicate in the target language properly.


2)To create self-confident individuals who are not afraid to take risks to speak in daily conversations as well as more formal speeches before masses of people.

3)To encourage the students to believe that they are individuals “who can Express themselves freely and confidently on formal and/or informal level about any kind of topic” rather than being the ones “who know the language but fail in producing that language orally”.

4)To bring out competent teacher trainees of the future years of their education who have comprehensive knowledge of the language concerned; can easily express themselves and transfer the absurbed informationin the most accurate, fluent and effective manner, as native-like as possible.

Learning Outcomes
LO-1The students learn how to perform imprompt speeches by choosing one of the vaious conversation topics of each week and repeat this as many times as possible all through the semes.
LO-2The students express themselves in a logical, meaningful, comprehensive and effective way in the target language, sharing their personal life experiences and perspectives to events.
LO-3The students form debate groups and perform debate-type prepared speech where persuasiveness is given great importance and the whole class is actively involved in the process as the chairman(teacher), debaters and the floor (audience). Each debaters knows her/his duty in the process, thus try to do their best to convince the audience for or against the idea.
LO-4The students involve in group work and pair work activities to facilitate and trigger speaking in English among classmates.
LO-5The students identify different usages of various structures, expressions and vocabulary in different circumstances.
LO-6The students aim to practice speaking in the target language both as accurately and fluently as possible.
