Course Goals
This course is based on a survey of a selection of historically and culturally significant literary texts and covers basic principles of cultural ideologies that have influenced human history. Students are expected to learn and use new linguistic structures acquired from the texts provided in the coursebook. They are required to develop their verbal, written and oral skills. As students evaluate, comment upon, criticise and differentiate multi logical interpretations, comprehension and critical thinking abilities are developed.
