The aims of this course are to familiarize the students with the writers and works from different periods of English and American literature, and the original spelling language of English; Periods and basic movements of literature written in English, sample texts belonging to various periods, basic concepts, terms, techniques in these literatures; and to study literary, philosophical and scientific trends from different perspectives.
