Course Goals
Linguistics II endeavors to foster a deeper comprehension of the intricate mechanics of language among ELT students, encompassing the realms of phonetics, phonology, sociocultural dynamics, and intra-interpersonal perspectives. Moreover, it encourages students to critically reflect on the multifaceted roles of language within society, providing them with a nuanced vocabulary of technical terms for precise linguistic analysis and description.
