Course Goals


The sociology of art undertakes the production and reception of a work of art by a collective of people. It prepares an empirical ground for the understanding of society in terms of its socio-demographic structure. In the context of the class, the structure of social groups and their changes will be analyzed through the presentation and production of works of art.
