Course Goals



The course, which is the continuation of the Film Language 1 course, aims to reinforce the elements used in creating meaning in cinema through film samples.

Learning Outcomes
LO-1Students will be able to recognize and interpret indications, narrative structure and film style in any given film.
LO-2Students will be familiarized with the important films and directors in film history and will be able to critically evaluate their film language and aesthetics.
LO-3Students will be aware of the elements that compose film production, and will be able to differentiate between the duties of each crew member.
LO-4Through film language, students will be able to recognize the messages in a film and they will be able to analyze and evaluate these messages.
LO-5Students will be able to put into practice the theoretical framework of the course through a short film production
