This course aims at contributing to the ability of students to understand dynamics of Turkish foreign policy in the recent era. The end target is to develop an analytical and critical perspective on the ideas, discourses, institutions, actors, interactions and the processes in Turkish foreign policy. The course begins with a focus on foreign policy analysis and the fundamentals of Turkish foreign policy. It proceeds with further discussion on the style of Turkish diplomacy, regional and international dimensions of foreign policy. It has a specific section on the discussions for revisiting foreign policy and concludes with a general assessment and future perspective.
