Course Goals
 The aim of this course is to examine transportation sector within the scope of economics discipline. For this purpose, firstly the concepts of economics of transportation, and transportation policy will be identified; after that, properties of transportation modes will be covered. The cost structure of the sector and the pricing strategies will be examined. The development of transportation modes and transportation policies implemented in Turkey will be examined from the historical perspective.
