Course Goals
The aims of the course are to provide students basic theoritical knowledge and basic concepts related to “communication” concept that is related to all disciplines and to discuss the causes and results of the communication with examples by considering the barriers, communication conflicts .

Teaching Methods and Techniques The course will be processed 100% synchronously in virtual classrooms opened in Istanbul Kültür University Cats System.

In accordance with the basic concepts and principles of communication the subjects such as ; how and with which items the communication process occurs ;which factors should be considered and from which factors should be avoided in order to set up a communication that targets to reach the aim, are discussed with practices and examples.

Program Outcomes
PO-1The students will be able to define all kinds of concepts related to communication, new media, art and culture (New media and communication)
PO-2The students will be able to understand the historical developments of communication and new media issues, as cultural, social, and technological change depending on the areas of related changes. They will be able to evaluate the results.
