Course Goals

The course will be processed 100% synchronously in virtual classrooms opened in Istanbul Kültür University Cats System.

The aim of the course is to discuss the topics related to the basic concepts and current debates in the field of new media and communication.In this context, specialist sector representatives in various branches of the new media and communication field related to the subject headings will be invited to benefit from their knowledge and experience.

Program Outcomes
PO-1The students will be able to define all kinds of concepts related to communication, new media, art and culture (New media and communication)
PO-2The students will be able to understand the historical developments of communication and new media issues, as cultural, social, and technological change depending on the areas of related changes. They will be able to evaluate the results.
