Course Goals
The course will be processed 100% synchronously in virtual classrooms opened in Istanbul Kültür University Cats System. 

The level of speed, the breadth of coverage, the new media environment that present many opportunities to users, the users at the same time as both producers and consumers. This also necessitates the examination of the ethical concept of communication in different and new dimensions. The emerging ethical problems need to be discussed with their causes and solutions. The aim of the course is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the new media concept, the development of new media and its characteristics, the ethical problems experienced in this area and all the elements related to these issues.

Program Outcomes
PO-1The students will be able to define all kinds of concepts related to communication, new media, art and culture (New media and communication)
PO-2The students will be able to understand the historical developments of communication and new media issues, as cultural, social, and technological change depending on the areas of related changes. They will be able to evaluate the results.
