Course Goals
New communication technologies are emerging as the most effective and most conspicuous phenomenon of information age. Especially with the transition from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0, interaction has become very important, interactive technologies have accelerated the transition to new media, and social media have made individuals dependent on it. The aim of this course is to take a comprehensive view of social media and gain awareness of how effective communication takes place through social networks.

Program Outcomes
PO-1The students will be able to define all kinds of concepts related to communication, new media, art and culture (New media and communication)
PO-2The students will be able to understand the historical developments of communication and new media issues, as cultural, social, and technological change depending on the areas of related changes. They will be able to evaluate the results.
