Course Goals
The ultimate aim of this course is to give basic methodology of entrepreneurship so that students can jump from ideation level to commercialization. While learning this methodology, they can learn the dynamics of entrepreneurship ecosystem both in Turkish context and in other contexts, more particularly the contexts in which best entrepreneurial practices have already flourished.

Learning Outcomes
LO-1Students will be able to realize and make sense of the importance of entrepreneurship and the reasons of why it is highly supported by several institutions both in Turkey and in the world
LO-2Students will be able to realize and make sense of the process of new venture creation in which opportunities are discovered or created.
LO-3Students will be able to conduct feasibility analysis before launching the original idea and making necessary changes on the idea along the process if needed.
LO-4Students will be able to design the business model canvas and all its sections to validate the idea.
LO-5Students will be able to write effective and wise business plans, also the ways of communication.
LO-6Students will not only be able to evaluate the importance of entrepreneurship but also social entrepreneurship with its social impact, at the same time to interpret their business model in terms of their added-value to the public in general.
LO-7Students will be able to know that the prerequisite for having an opinion is to nurture thatopinion with knowledge, together with this awareness they will be able to look at the events and/or situations they encounter critically.
