European Architecture after Byzantine Empire, Architecture of Medieval Times, Romanesque and Gothic Architecture, The Revival of Antiquity, Art and Architecture of Renaissance, Art and Architecture of Baroque, Rococo, Historicism of 18. and 19. century, the impact of industrialization on architecture, new construction techniques, the effect of new social and spatial needs on architecture, analysis of development principles of westernization in 20. century Turkey. The aim is to be able to identify and discuss an architectural problem, evaluate contrary opinions, arrive well-thought-out solutions and test these in known criterion and standards.
