Course Goals
Ottoman palaces are complex buildings which include the buildings of sultan’s residence and imperial management center. General settlement and architectural styles of buildings are different. Evaluation of the principles of architectural design of Ottoman palaces between Turkish and Islamic palaces are imported. Today the palaces in İstanbul are belong to different foundations. There are some conservational problems arising from having different ownership.
