Course Goals

Combine the content of Information Technology and Management.

To inform students about the technologies that shape business today and to obtain tools to help them evaluate technological trends after graduation

Develop a conception of:

- management information systems need

- The importance of MIS in business

- Relationships and interactions between management, information and systems;

- the impact of MISs and BSs on improving managerial, operational and strategy building competencies; and hence to achieve efficiency, to gain competitive advantage

To raise awareness for the critical importance of:

* Professional IT expertise

* Information systems security

* Ethical and social issues related to information technology

Program Outcomes
