Course Goals
Within the context of this course, a historic site chosen either from Istanbul or Anatolia, is to be surveyed, analyzed and evaluated from the point of original  architectural and environmental qualities. Following the conservation and rehabilitation proposals developed for the study area in general scale, it is aimed to produce projects for different sub-study areas, which  may be a street rehabilitation project, or the restoration and reuse project of a historic building, or the design project of an infill building within historic context.
