Program Objectives
Engineering Management Program provides planning and decision-making skills to its graduates. The students gain knowledge about developing areas of various sectors and the ability to work in multi-disciplinary engineering teams. The courses cover the areas of probability and statistics, optimization, operations management and social science to deliver the knowledge and application skills related to the methods required for solving engineering problems. The program also aims to provide experience and knowledge of scientific research and publishing within the frame of academic ethics.
Establishment
Graduate Program in Engineering Management is established in 2018-2019 Academic Year, Fall Semester, under the Department of Industrial Engineering which is established in 1997.
Qualification Awarded
Students who have successfully completed all of the courses and thesis, earned minimum 129 ECTS will receive a MS degree in Engineering Management.

Admission and Registration RequirementsIt is required to have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, a score higher than 60 quantitative points from ALES and a minimum YDS score of 55 points for application to Engineering Management Program. The admission score is calculated with the scores of ALES 50%, English Proficiency Test 10%, Undergraduate GPA 20% and Interview/Scientific Exam 20%.
Double Major–Minor Programs Double major and minor programs are not applicable for this program.
InternshipThere is no internship requirement for the program.
Graduation Requirements
The student should complete all courses without any failing grades and a thesis, on condition that they fulfill 129 ECTS credits. The student’s Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) should be a minimum 2.70 over 4.00
Occupational Profiles Of GraduatesWorking as research assistants in universities or holding engineer or manager positions in the private sectors.
Access to Further Studies Students who successfully finished this graduate program could apply for PhD programs.
