Analytical modeling of the telecommunication network and topology design, central polling mechanisms, packet switching network, T1 networks, route finding strategies, tele-traffic engineering, and security. This course also provides an overview of several telecommunication systems architectures including DSL, PON, CATV, cellular wireless, WLAN, satellite systems, internet networking, and related voice and data networks.
