| PO-1 | Students are able to discuss texts of the Turkish Language and Literature from the oldest period until today from literary and philological aspects. Students are able to make textual analysis through comparison with texts of western literature. |
| PO-2 | Students are able to use at expert level course materials, research methods, knowledge and theories that are used in the Turkish Language and Literature Program, and includes up-to-date information. |
| PO-3 | Students are able to use the knowledge and theoretical information they have gained in the Turkish Language and Literature Program in the fields of education, research and public service, and systematically communicate it to groups in unrelated fields. |
| PO-4 | Students are able to come up with solutions through individual effort for problems they encounter in the field, manage advanced level studies independently, and take responsibility as members of a work group. |
| PO-5 | Students are able to analyze problems relating to the Turkish Language and Literature Program, support likely solutions with tangible data, and share the data with experts in the related field. |
