Course Goals

The aim of this course is to remind the basic concepts, controversial points, history and theories of the doctrine of international relations. . The course is planned for both the students who will take courses in this discipline for the first time and for those who have completed their undergraduate studies.

Learning Outcomes
LO-1To be able to evaluate the connection between World Politics, migration and international relations theories and human rights issues.
LO-2To be able to evaluate international security, present and future international crises.
LO-3To comprehend the main themes of the course and to evaluate their impact on international politics, international security, historical background and foreign policy decisions and to make connections between the subjects.
LO-4Evaluation of international security, migration, international theories and the role of international actors.
LO-5To evaluate the comparative foreign policy of Turkey, US, EU, Russia, China, the Middle East and the countries of Eurasia.
