Scope of the lecture is to examine community, individual, sub-community groups, culture and identity (sub-identities) with the help of examples on historical and contemporary urban settlements, globalization, post-modernism, meanning, tranformation, immigration, population, sheltering, gentrification in Turkey and other world cities.
