Course Goals
It is to give basic information about biostatistics and to provide the basis for future clinical and epidemiological research courses. Statistical applications in medicine.

Basic concepts of biostatistics.

Introduction to SPSS: SPSS Menus, Data Entry to SPSS, Calculation of Indicator Statistics in SPSS, Sampling, Numerical Methods for Data Analysis (Parametric Tests): Hypothesis Testing and Application in SPSS, t-test: Dependent Two Examples t- Test, Independent Two Sample t-test and its Application in SPSS, Analysis of Variance and its Application in SPSS, Non-Numerical Methods (Nonparametric Tests): Kay - Square Distribution and Application in SPS.

SPSS and MEDCALC applied clinical statistics, Research and Statistical Methods in Health Sciences, epidemiological field research.

Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) and its Application in SPSS, Nonparametric Statistics, Nonparametric Statistics, Calculation of Validity and Reliability of Tests, Calculation of Validity and Reliability of Tests

Knows the general features of SPSS package program. It makes data entry with SPSS package program. SPSS program with the help of the program knows the description. Know parametric tests and their properties. Know the properties of T-test and apply it in SPSS. Know the variance analysis and apply SPSS. Knows the properties of nonparametric tests and applies them in SPSS. Makes validity and reliability analysis of tests using SPSS package program.
