To create a theoretical infrastructure for the basic principles and information in the field of insurance and the basic concepts used in sector applications, in the world and in Turkey to explain the development of the insurance sector, to introduce intermediary institutions and organizations in insurance, understanding the function of insurance in risk management, to comprehend insurance elements, parties, types, branches and basic principles of insurance, to have knowledge about insurance legislation include the objectives of this course.
