Developing awareness of the interaction between the physical environment and humans, understanding the basic principles of lighting, acoustics, climate control, and energy use in the design of environmental systems. Understanding the basic principles of architectural and urban design decisions in sustainability, including the preservation of natural and culturally significant buildings and areas, the creation of healthy buildings and settlements, and the design principles and correct application methods of building envelope materials and systems constitute the objectives of the course.
