Course Goals


The aim of the course is to teach auteur theory and the directors who have come to be known as “auteurs” through examples of their films. The problematics, themes and styles undertaken by these auteurs will be examined through examples.

Teaching Methods and Techniques
Lectures accompanied by screenings every week, discussion of these films in the contexts of the theoretical framework given, student presentations in the same vain
