Every film is political, because every film is a product of an ideological system. Because each film is a product of an economic system it automatically becomes part of an ideological one; film and art are branches of the ideological system. Within this context, this course aims to take a look at how films have delivered ideology in different times in different countries, and will allow students to have a more critical approach to film.
