Within the scope of the lesson;
to introduce the human-environment relationship (or environment-behaviour) area that produces important datas to design discipline and undertake the importance of it in architectural design
to form a general conceptual frame model in human-environment relations in order to develop the sistematical research ability of the student
to emphasize the phisical environment, especially in housing environments, the efficiency of cultural factors in forming are aimed.

Explanations, student readings, presentations, discussions and site investigation;
understanding the Turkish House from traditon to future and by researching the cultural core of Turkish house to design with the design criterias that formed after desicussions.
