Course Goals
The purpose of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge on:  the development of international rules and standards regarding shipping; structure and activities of International Maritime Organisation (IMO), importance of the IMO in shipping world; international regulations regarding such as protection of the marine environment, maritime safety, maritime security, liability and compensation. In addition, the lesson aims to ensure the students to have the ability to make assesments and apply their knowledge on specific cases.
