Course Goals Advanced applications of word processor and spreadsheets, introduction to office automation systems and their applications, introduction to their connection with database systems.
    Application: Students will develop applications with Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet)
    Helping students understand how they can make use of computer software during their academic and business life.   Be familiar with using spreadsheets to solve problems - including relative/absolute cell referencing, Boolean logic, reference functions and financial functions   Application: Students will develop applications with Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet)

Teaching Methods and Techniques - Theoretical teaching in classroom   - Laboratory applications       - Teaching methods that depend on theoric explanation and practicing with computer application projects.   - Lectures work best (and are most fun) when they are highly interactive, so your participation is important and strongly encouraged. Remember that asking questions both in class and in office hours is a sign of engagement in the material and not an expression of weakness!   - There will be at least 3 pop-up quizzes during class hours. These will not be announced before, so it’s highly recommended to attend and participate in classes.   - During class hours, according to answering the questions, students can gain extra points, so it’s highly recommended to attend and participate in classes.    
Principle Sources - Presentation notes will be delivered during course.   - Students will be responsible from the entire official and unofficial (spoken during class hours) lecture notes. So, it’s highly recommended to attend and participate in classes-   - Lecture notes, slides, exercises and all the other announcements will be transmitted over CATS (You are all responsible for checking CATS folders of this course)-   - Any textbook for Microsoft Office 2013 applications.
