Program Objectives
Provide wide outlook and independent research ability for geotechnical research with following last technological developments and it brings making interpretation with these properties.

Mode of Education A master's degree with thesis is offered with full-time and part-time professors.
Admission and Registration RequirementsIt is required to have a Bachelor degree for application to Geotechnical Master Program (without thesis). Science Exam/Oral Interview and English Proficiency Test are done before the admission to the program. They are evaluated as following and program application date is declared by the university.
Undergraduate GPA : 40%
English Proficiency Test : 10%
Science Exam/Oral Interview : 50%
Double Major–Minor Programs There is no double major and minor program in the Construction Master's Program.
Internship There is no internship requirement in the Construction Master's Program.
Graduation Requirements
The student should complete all courses without any failing grades and a thesis, on condition that they fulfill 120 ECTS credits. The student’s Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) should be a minimum 2.7 over 4.00.

Occupational Profiles Of Graduates
Access to Further Studies Students who complete their master's degree in the Department of Civil Engineering are eligible to apply to the doctoral programs of the Department of Civil Engineering and many other departments. Students who are successful in ALES(Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam), ÜDS(Interuniversity Council Foreign Language Exam), science exam and interview results have the chance to be admitted to doctoral education.
