Program Objectives
Industrial and Organizational Psychology is a programme which aims to improve information and ability about describing, analyzing human behavior in management, comprehending human behavior's interaction with other organizational variables and to direct behavior through human's well-being and productivity of managements. In other words, it aims to share the examples pf pracice and current information about human characteristics such as personality, attitude, values and motivation and how these characteristics interact with other variables in an organization and results of these interactions in individual and organizational level.
EstablishmentEducation pf Industrial and Organizational Psychology Progamme will be started in 2012-2013 Academic Fall Semester.
Qualification Awarded The students who successfully complete all the courses in the graduate curriculum which lasts for 2 years, and get at least 120 ECTS (The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) are awarded with the Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Language of Instruction The language of instruction is Turkish.
Mode of Education Full-time.
Admission and Registration RequirementsIt is required to have a Bachelor degree and score higher than 55 quantitative points from Selection Examination for Academic Personnel and Graduate Studies (ALES) for application. Oral Interview is done before the admission to the programme.

Undergraduate Points Average 10%
Oral Interview 30%.
During the application, ALES document which is taken in the last 2 years, diploma, transcript, military situation document (for males), a copy of identity card, 2 photographs and registration fee receipt are taken. During the precise administration not the copy but the originals of these documents and the student contribution margin receipt are wanted. Programme application date is declared by the university.
Double Major–Minor Programs Double Major and Minor Programs are not possible at Industrial and Organizational Psychology Programme.
Internship It is not compulsory for the students of Industrial and Organizational Psychology Programme to do apprenticeship or internship.
Graduation Requirements
The student should complete all courses without any failing grades and a thesis, on condition that they fulfill 120 ECTS credits. The student’s Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) should be a minimum 2.7 over 4.00

Access to Further Studies So long as they meet the requirements of acceptance to the PhD program, MA graduates of Industrial and Organizational Psychology Programme can pursue their education at any university they prefer, at home or abroad.
Departmental Facilities There are one professor, two assistant proffessors ,one assosiated professor and two research assistants who works full time and have a proffiency on their interested own issues pf psychology. Also, for increasing the contents of courses, different lecturers from different universities continue to support the curriculum.
