Course Goals |
Financial management course has three major goals. First, to develop and understanding of the rapidly evolving and exciting theory of finance so that the learner can evaluate the firm's investment, financing, and dividend decisions in keeping with an objective of maxmizing shareholder wealth by considering social welfare and security; second, to become familiar with the application of analytical methods to a variety of problems in managerial finance; and third, to expose the student how to make correct financial decisions by implementing the concept of opportunity cost. |
