Course Goals
It is aimed to examine, to investigate, to define and to study the conservation problems of traditional methods and techniques of architectural and structural elements of various civilizations in Anatolia. Apart from the size, material and elaborate workmanship of monumental architecture, the modest examples of vernacular architecture will be studied, focusing on the analysis of construction techniques and the design parameters.
