Program Objectives
The Business Management program aims to train graduates and managerial candidates who have the knowledge and skills to work in national and international businesses.
EstablishmentFounded in 1997, Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School Business Management Program had its first graduates in 2000. The program has been continuing its education at Incirli Campus since the 2009-2010 academic year.
Qualification AwardedStudents who have successfully completed all courses and had at least 120 ECTS, has the associate degree.
Language of Instruction The medium of Education is Turkish.
Mode of EducationBoth theoretical and practical parts of the courses are planned as formal education. However max. %30 of the courses in each semester in terms of ECTS credits can be given online education.
Admission and Registration RequirementsStudents are admitted to İKÜ Vocational School programs through the Central Placement Exam conducted by ÖSYM and with their TYT scores.
Double Major–Minor ProgramsAs a result of the evaluation of the applications made at certain periods of their education, students who successfully complete Double Minor Programme and receive the right to associate degree of both departmants are given two associate diplomas.
InternshipThere is a 40 working day internship requirement.
Graduation RequirementsIn order to graduate from the program students must have at least 2,00 GPA out of 4,00 and 120 ECTS. Also, students must have complete their internship 40 days.
International CooperationsStudents have the opportunity to be an exchange student and make internship abroad through the ERASMUS Program.
Occupational Profiles Of GraduatesBusiness Management Program graduates have the opportunity to work in business both in private and public sector enterprises in marketing, finance, accounting, public relations and human resources departments as experts, researchers, auditors and managers.
Access to Further Studies Students who graduated from Business Administration Program can make the vertical transfer to bachelor degree to enhance their training to upper level. Departmental FacilitiesIn İncirli Campus, we have updated PC labs, amfi salons for seminars.
Program Activities Also, some seminars are organized on business skills, as well as training on micro skills in order to obtain certification.
