Program Objectives
The Computer Programming Program offers a comprehensive education in technology and software development, preparing students for careers in this dynamic sector. The program provides a broad range of knowledge from basic computer science concepts to software development techniques, data structures, algorithms, and programming languages. In addition to theoretical knowledge, students gain practical experience through laboratory work and projects, enhancing their ability to produce innovative solutions to real-world problems.

EstablishmentComputer Programming curriculum is established on July 9, 1997 at the Vocational School, which started in Istanbul Culture University according to Law No. 4281. The program offered classes in Sirinevler Main Campus from 1997 to 1999, Sirinevler Faculty of Arts and Sciences building from 1999 to 2005 and Sirinevler Vocational School building from 2005 to 2009. The program is based in Incirli Campus since 2009-2010 education year.
Qualification AwardedUndergraduate degree in Computer Programming is given to students who complete all theirs courses successfully in the 2-year course plan with 120 AKTS.
Language of Instruction Turkish
Mode of Education* It has been planned as Digital Distance Education up to 40% and will be supported by sectoral E-Webinars that will be given with the digital method and CATs V3.0 interface enriched as 100% Asynchronous and Synchronous in the Spring Semester.
** It was planned as formal, but after the developments in the pandemic process, it was decided to continue the theoretical part of the course with the Digital Distance Education method within the framework of the recommendations of YÖK.
The theoretical part of the course will be supported by sectoral E-Webinars that will be given in the Spring Semester with 100% Asynchronous and Synchronous enriched digital method and CATs V3.0 interface. According to the developments in the pandemic process and the senate, the curriculum and duration of the theoretical courses given with CATs V3.0 Digital Distance Education will be given by the diluted [accelerated] hybrid formal method through the optional appointment method.
The practical parts of the course will be given by the Digital Distance Education method, and according to the developments experienced during the pandemic process of the applications that cannot be given and the senate, the diluted [accelerated] hybrid and / or the formal method in the last semester of the Spring Semester can be done through the optional appointment method over the CATs V3.0 system in the Spring Semester. will be given with.
*** Internship studies can be carried out optionally in the Spring Semester under pandemic conditions without time and duration restrictions due to the graduation requirement and the 3 + 1 system application of some programs. If the students who have the opportunity to carry out e-internship and / or partly remotely, their domicile and / or location may be taken into consideration if requested.

Admission and Registration RequirementsThe Central Placement Exam in Computer Programming program with 70 students are accepted by ÖSYM. Departmental Facilities In İncirli Campus, we have updated PC labs, amfi salons for seminars.
Classes in Computer Programming involve project and homework applications and are thought by faculty members who have significant experience in the industry. The computer labs are equipped with the newest technologies and use the most recent applications.
Program Activities In Computer Programming Program, some seminars are organized on software skills, workshop activities.
We organize seminars and conferences in cooperation with firms and institutions in the industry to inform our students about the market. We also request officials to explain the required employment qualifications for vocational school graduates. Our goal is to equip our graduates with the demanded qualifications by participating in projects with these firms and institutions.
