The general objective of this course is to demonstrate to the learners how the language is used in the target setting focusing on developing students’ knowledge of fields of study or work in addition to their language skills.This course is designed to expose students to the fundamentals of academic and professional communication in order to develop professionals who can effectively apply communication theories and best practices to meet their academic and professional communication needs. This course also aims to teach learners how to communicate clearly, directly and with authority, but also politely, when dealing with routine and non-routine situations. It will help learners to use appropriate English on board.
