The course aims to introduce art history from pre historic ages to medevial ages. In the Art History, developments of art are studied in connection with social, economical and political conditions. Involving the arts of painting, sculpture, architecture and ceramics the course evaluates different materials and techniques, artists, art patrons, art institutes and many art Works.
The course will be processed as 100% Synchronous in virtual classrooms opened in Istanbul Kültür University Cats System.
By using the visual and written presentation items every subject is examined under main topics:

2- Terms related to the subject
3- Geographical Definition
4- Historical Process of the Period
5- The Facts That Dormed the Art of the Period
6- Art of the Period
7- Bibliography
In this course there are also presentations of documentary films on the related subject, readings texts on the subject and visits of museums, monuments and exhibitions as an outside activity
