Course Goals
It is to determine the position of the Public Relations within the frame of the governance, which is started to be used and applied dominantly in the 21st century, and to determine the Public Relations methods which are used most commonly.

Program Outcomes
PO-1Students will be able to define the concepts of communication, art, culture and others on the field and to associate the acquired theoretical information with the practices in the sector.
PO-2To gain the success on the field they will acquire the must theoretical acquisitions and they will be able to make creative designs by learning the quantitative and qualitative methods of the field.
PO-3By understanding developments of the subjects like communication, media, culture and art in their historical processes students will be able to evaluate the changes and results in the field related to cultural, social and technological improvements.
PO-4They will observe the technological, cultural and social improvements and will be able to practice these changes in the field.

LO-1Will be able to define the management, governance concepts theoretically.
LO-2Will be able to identify the new functions brought by the governance to the Public Relations, which is a method of communication.
LO-3Will be able to identify the techniques, tools which are most commonly used by the Public Relations and will be able to interpret whether the public, private sectors and non-governmental organizations cooperate or not at the stages of joint decision making, application and control.
LO-4Will be able to demonstrate the public relations methods used in the mentioned applications within the frame of governance.
LO-5Will be able to relate the concept of governance to effective communication concept.
LO-6Will be able to practice the governance and public relations applications of corporations which adopt the fact of governance.
