Program Outcomes
PO-11. The student adopts the skill to practice the Turkish language properly and clearly by analyzing it in terms of phonetics , structure and form, syntax and semantics .
PO-22. The student can appreciate all the texts related to Turkish Language and Literature from the onrush up to the present from a linguistic and literary aspect.He also finds the opportunity to compare them with the Western literature texts.
PO-33.The student can make an anthology or research on Folklore.
PO-44. The student attains information about Atatürk principles and revolutions.
PO-55. The student knows the leading literary output, reads the sample texts representing the historical development of Turkish Language and Literature and conveys it to scientific transcription alphabet.

Learning Outcomes
LO-1The students evaluate a literary work in terms of the subject, language, style, time, historical events and the writer’s identity.
LO-2The students understand the reasons of the changes that could be seen in the 1st or 2nd edition of the literary work due to the relation between the writer and the literary work.
LO-3The students differentiate works which have literary value from the others.
LO-4The students understand psychological and sociological factors contributing the emergence of a literary work.
LO-5The students understand through examples that language, style, and literary topics vary.
LO-6The students understand the reasons of the change that comes in time
LO-7The students learn how to find sources, get and evaluate them when they are supposed to do a research on any one of the topics of literature.
