With the aim of realizing a conservation/rehabilitation project for the historic area, collecting information, making research, advanced level of information and comprehension for the environmental analyses; analysis of a historical environment within its context, comprising values and problems; development of necessary specialization and problem solving qualifications for the development of new knowledge and methods necessary for this study; carrying the individual responsibility of problem solving and management of a complex process of a conservation/rehabilitation project as a team member; improving abilities for strategic decision making necessary for the realization of a historic site conservation project parallel to the insight of ethical values; utilization of national and interational sample projects for the conservation and rehabilitation of historic environments under the pressure of rapid destruction; reaching to a necessary level of analytical thought, critical mindset and gaining cognitive and practical experience, necessary for the preparation of related analytical studies, morphological and typological analyses and gaining the students the proficiency of integrating knowledge coming from architectural history, urban planning, archaeology, civil engineering and related fields in an interdisciplinary, multi-disciplinary and transdisciplinary context.
