2. Week Application of fiber filling method to enlarge or reduce the dimensions of mannequins. Marking with a ribbon on the mannequin. Determination of body lines. Lecture, Question & Answer, Demonstration, Drill – Practise
3. Week Demonstrating the basic skirt pattern using American fabric on the mannequin. Students' practice in the classroom. Learning Outcomes
LO-1With this technique, the designer can work one-on-one with the fabric.
LO-2The modeling skills of the designer can be improved with draping studies.
LO-3By recognizing the fabric properties better, it can provide three-dimensional control of the fit of the designed model to the body.
LO-4Can easily apply cut, asymmetrical, draped, different forceps and cup works with draping technique.
LO-5Since different cuts, fabrics and patterns are created in three dimensions in the body measurements of the model during the design stage as a whole, it can easily control the accuracy of the design.
