Course Goals
Form-texture and color; the three important issues in interior design are covered regarding their effects on design development and user psychology. Studio based courses provide to practice people-environment relationship focusing on user perception.

Teaching Methods and Techniques A lecture-based course supported by hand-outs, power-point presentations.

Students are required to prepare and present a term project.

Program Outcomes
PO-1Within the architectural discipline,has local,regional, national and international knowledge regarding different space planning issues related to interior architectural design and planning.

LO-1 Recognizes visual perception dependant on surface color-color properties of light sources
LO-2To define color with respect to material properties, finishes and furnishing
LO-3To define color depending on color systems and color schemes in interior design
LO-4Improves ability in using color-form-texture interaction to satisfy on visual comfort conditions
LO-5 Gives students an experience on understanding the examples which belongs to different periods in the history of interior design by stressing on the three components;form-color and texture
