Course Goals

Within the scope of the course, the changing news production tools due to digital transformation and how traditional media are shaped in the focus of the participatory target audience will be explained to the students. Topics such as web journalism, citizen journalism, data journalism, digital activism, and the concept of producer-consumer will be discussed through examples. In addition to these, it will be ensured that the student learns to write a news text by mentioning news writing rules and techniques.
