Program Objectives
The Doctoral Program in Industrial Engineering aims to train researcher engineers and academics who can conduct scientific research in the field of industrial engineering, evaluate the technological advancements of the field with a scientific perspective, contribute to the development of science and technology for the benefit of humanity, consider the needs of society in research and development activities, and have a developed academic ethical consciousness.

Admission and Registration RequirementsTo apply for the Doctoral Program in Industrial Engineering (in English), candidates must hold a thesis-based master's degree in Engineering. Applicants must have a numerical score of 70 or higher in ALES, or an equivalent score determined by the Senate from GRE or GMAT exams. Additionally, they should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or an equivalent score in their master's degree. They also need to provide a score certificate from YÖKDİL or YDS with a minimum score of 70, or an equivalent score from an exam recognized by ÖSYM.
Double Major–Minor ProgramsDouble major and minor programs are not applicable for this program.
InternshipThere is no internship requirement for the program.
Graduation RequirementsThe student should complete all courses without any failing grades and a thesis, on condition that they fulfill 255 ECTS credits.

Departmental FacilitiesIndustrial Engineering Department is located in Atakoy Campus. The department consists of 3 Professor, 5 Assistant Professors, 5 Research Assistants. Research interests of the members of the department cover a wide range in the field of Industrial Engineering. The department has a Computer Laboratory and Production and Measurement Technologies Laboratory, which are used for both education and research purposes.
