Course Goals

In this course the code of laws that regulate mass communication and the legal problems of the organizations will be discussed by transferring ideas about how conflicts between press crimes and press freedom should be perceived in terms of public benefit. In addition to this the mass communication law practices in other countries is considered in the course and the knowledge about “Universal Declaration of Human Rights” , the knowledge about the individuals’ constitutional  rights and the legal freedom and  limitations of obtaining and giving information in terms of international agreements is transferred to students . The aim of this course is to provide students who will work in communication sector  the necessary knowledge about mass communication law and provide them the ability to work in accordance with professional ethics.

Program Outcomes
PO-1Students will be able to define the concepts of communication, art, culture and others on the field and to associate the acquired theoretical information with the practices in the sector.
